General Terms
By using the DRL Automobile website and our rental services, you accept these terms and conditions. Displayed prices are "from" prices, before GST and QST.
Eligibility
The renter must be at least 25 years old (no rentals under 25), hold a valid driver’s licence for at least 2 years and present a government-issued photo ID. A satisfactory driving record may be required.
Pricing
Displayed prices are "from" prices, by the month, the week and the day, before GST and QST. Each rental month includes 2,500 km; each extra kilometre is billed $1.00. The security deposit is extra. Rates are subject to change based on vehicle availability and market conditions.
Security Deposit
A security deposit is required at vehicle pickup: $2,500 or $5,000 depending on the model rented, shown on the vehicle page. The deposit is refunded upon vehicle return, subject to a satisfactory inspection.
Insurance
Insurance terms are set out when you book.
Liability
The renter is responsible for the vehicle during the rental period, as set out in the signed rental agreement. Fines and tickets issued during that period are the renter's responsibility. Nothing herein limits the rights granted to the renter by the Québec Consumer Protection Act and the Civil Code of Québec, including with respect to bodily injury.
Cancellation
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the rental start date are free of charge. Late cancellations (less than 48 hours) may incur fees equivalent to one day of rental.
Modifications
We may update these website terms of use. The version in force is dated at the top of the page. A change never applies to a rental already confirmed, which remains governed by the signed agreement.
